• 1st September 2020 - 31st August 2021 should start school in September 2025
• 1st September 2021 - 31st August 2022 should start school in September 2026

Starting Reception 

Your child's journey to school starts at home

"We understand that all children develop at their own pace, and that we’re all learning from birth. When it’s time to start school, some children will need more help than others. There are key skills that schools expect children to be learning before their first day. Practising these will make your child’s journey to Reception as positive as possible."

UNIFORM: We encourage all of our pupils to attend in school uniform or school colours - you can find more information about this under the 'uniform' tab on the website.

COATS: Please ensure your child is dressed for the changing weather conditions. A coat is essential when it is cold as pupils will go out to play every day unless the weather is too inclement.

PE KITS: In Reception, children should come to school wearing PE kit on their PE days as directed by the teachers.

WATER BOTTLES: We ask all our pupils to bring named water bottles into school each day.
