At Freemantle we offer paid before and after-school care

Monday to Friday, during term time, we open from 8:00 am for paid before school provision. We do not offer breakfast, however, the children can bring in a healthy breakfast snack if they wish, as long as it is nut free as per Academy policy. During 'before school care', the children enjoy exploring the toys and equipment on offer.

After school, again, during term time, we offer paid after-school care provision until 5.15pm. During this time the children are able to explore and enjoy the resources and wider Academy environment such as the MUGA and Library. A simple routine is followed which includes a healthy snack for the children to share as a group.

Days are themed as follows:

Mindfulness Monday

This includes yoga, mindfulness colourings, and breathing activities. 

Topic Tuesday

A time for us to focus on our current theme.

Workout Wednesday

This includes movement and dance and playing team games in the playground.  

Tasty Thursday

This includes growing our own fruit and vegetables to eat and learning about healthy eating.

Fun Friday

The children get to choose what they would like to do! This can include watching a film, playing with the toys, exploring the arts and crafts.
