12/07/2020 - FINAL TIMETABLE (SECONDARY TRANSITION ACTIVITIES FOR SUMMER)

Hello, online, for the last time (but absolutely not for the last time) wonderful Year 6 pupils, parents and carers,

I will save my words of farewell for your end of year video, which your parents and carers will be able to pick up soon (keep an eye on ParentMail please parents and carers for one last important letter from me). For now, this final pack of summer activities is all about helping you to prepare for what I know will be another exciting, challenging and memorable chapter in your lives.

Enjoy your summer, you deserve it, remember it is 100% normal to be excited and/or nervous about starting a new school (I still remember the nerves almost 20 years later!) but above all, please hold on to the values that have made you Freemantle pupils: courage, creativity and fellowship. I truly believe we make the world a better place by working together, by caring for one another, even if we don't always agree with others, and by having the courage and creativity to overcome challenges; you have demonstrated that to me time and again this year. I'm very proud of you all.

Above all, go into summer and your secondary schools knowing that you will always be a part of our Freemantle family and always welcome back.

Good luck with all your future endeavours! I believe in every one of you.

Your Year 6 teacher, Mr Seymour, and everybody at Freemantle Academy
