We continue to be amazed at how well the children have settled, well done to all our fab pupils. As restrictions lift nationally, the academy will also look to 'ease' some areas. This will be done in a careful and progamatic way. We will not put pupils and staff at risk. The academy will remain vigilant, and we ask that parents do the same and support us to continue to get things back on 'an even keel'. As the children are settled, we will now be implementing the LA and national guidance on absence and lateness......thank you for your support in getting the children to school and on time, it helps them to settle in the morning and helps us to support their learning.

Theatre for Change

Tickets are now available for the 'Theatre for Change' production at the Nuffield Theatre.

NST and City of Sanctuary are proud to present a sharing of ‘work in process’ based on the themes of migration and journeys.

Year 5 pupils from Freemantle C of E Community Academy School, St Monica Primary School and Swaythling Primary School with new practitioners from World Stages Now have been exploring what it is to have to leave your home and travel to a new place.

World Stages Now are a performing arts group made up mostly of refugees and asylum seekers who came together in 2014 and have since been devising and performing work to raise awareness about the need for sanctuary in our city.
