Dear staff and students at Freemantle C of E Community Academy
Thank you for inviting Dogs Trust into your school on Tuesday 7th November, both Samuel and I enjoyed meeting you all. I wanted to say a massive thank you everyone made me feel so welcome throughout my visit. I need to say a special thank you for the flowers and chocolates (I didn’t share these with Samuel) and for the lovely card signed by all the year one children, I was truly touched. Thank you so much to Nina for organising the day and making sure I was so well looked after. I hope you all enjoyed learning about how dogs and how we can stay safe, I was very impressed with all the questions that you all asked me.
Your booking has contributed towards our aim of encouraging young people to learn about caring for dogs, being a responsible dog owner and how to stay safe around dogs. Dogs Trust believe that by educating young people about the commitment involved in owning a dog and about staying safe around dogs, we can help them to become more responsible members of their local community. Our experiences show that teaching compassion, care and respect towards animals can also enrich children’s lives in many other ways.
Finally, please don’t hesitate to contact me again if you want to book some more of our FREE workshops in the future.
Thank you and I hope to see you all again soon.
