We would like to say that we are so proud of all of our pupils and their resilience and attitude in what has been a difficult year and a half, thanks you wonderful children you are FAB. A special mention to the year 6 pupils who leave us today; we sincerely wish you the very best as you move to secondary school, but offer an open invitation if any of you would like to come and see us in the future......... keep us informed of how things are going. Stay safe over the summer period and we look forward to seeing everone back on Thursday 2nd September- bright eyed and bushy tailed. .................. please keep an eye out for parentmails during the summer break as there is lots to share with you all........................Let us hope that next year is 'normal' and that we can enjoy being together in class and in school. Thanks to all the parents that have worked so hard to help their children through lockdowns, both academically and emotionally...........we know how difficult it was. Stay safe!

Harvest Festival

We are approaching the end of summer and autumn is soon upon us. This is the time of year when crops are harvested and we celebrate Harvest Festival, which is a celebration of the food grown on the land.

At Freemantle we celebrate this time by gathering in our Church to sing and pray, and decorating our Church with donations of food, to share with those families in need of help. If you would like to join us to celebrate our Harvest Festival you are very welcome to come to Freemantle Christ Church on Monday 9th October at 9.30 am.

Please bring your children to school as normal on that day. We will bring the children over to church and return to school afterwards. In addition to this we would kindly ask if you could donate some food that has a long shelf life, e.g. bags of pasta and rice, tinned food, or boxes of cereals, that we will donate to the Salvation Army to support food banks within Southampton.

Please bring food donations into school before Friday 6th October, so the children can build up Harvest displays within their classroom within the Collective Worship areas.

Thanks you for taking the time to read this and for your continued support for our community.

Yours sincerely, Miss Nina Myszkowski Collective Worship Leader
