We continue to be amazed at how well the children have settled, well done to all our fab pupils. As restrictions lift nationally, the academy will also look to 'ease' some areas. This will be done in a careful and progamatic way. We will not put pupils and staff at risk. The academy will remain vigilant, and we ask that parents do the same and support us to continue to get things back on 'an even keel'. As the children are settled, we will now be implementing the LA and national guidance on absence and lateness......thank you for your support in getting the children to school and on time, it helps them to settle in the morning and helps us to support their learning.

Christmas Fete

Christmas is around the corner and that can mean only one thing, its the Freemantle Christmas Fete!

The fete this year will take place on the 8th of December from 3:30pm to 5:50pm.

This will consist of an afternoon of fun for the children and their families. Previous events have always proved very popular.

Please pick up your children as normal and then make your way to the office where you be asked to pay a 50p entrance fee per adult (children are free). Once you are inside you will be able to visit Santa’s Grotto, enjoy a selection of food and drink and enjoy plenty of fun, games and stalls.

Money raised will be used to purchase educational equipment for the whole school.

Events of this nature cannot happen without the support of the local community. So we are asking for any parents who would like to assist in any way to get in touch.

If you were able to help please contact the school via pta@freemantleschool.co.uk or 02380 227925 and ask to leave a message for the PTA by Friday 2nd November 2016.

A letter containing this information will be sent out shortly.
