We continue to be amazed at how well the children have settled, well done to all our fab pupils. As restrictions lift nationally, the academy will also look to 'ease' some areas. This will be done in a careful and progamatic way. We will not put pupils and staff at risk. The academy will remain vigilant, and we ask that parents do the same and support us to continue to get things back on 'an even keel'. As the children are settled, we will now be implementing the LA and national guidance on absence and lateness......thank you for your support in getting the children to school and on time, it helps them to settle in the morning and helps us to support their learning.

27/04/2020 - Maths Challenges

I had an email this morning from a Year 6 pupil who is clearly working very hard, asking for more maths as they had not only finished the CGP tasks but also the White Rose Hub Learning tasks for Years 6 and some of the secondary years as well!

So, for anybody else who's taking their maths very seriously at home, I have put a series of challenges at the bottom of this page and links to websites where you can find more.

If you find the solution to any of the challenges (especially the Make 100/Make 0 problems - my favourites) and want to check your answers, use the feedback form below and I'll let you know how you did.

And don't forget, there's BBC Bitesize who are providing daily lessons in lots of different subjects and your blue CGP homework books packed full of maths.
