We would like to say that we are so proud of all of our pupils and their resilience and attitude in what has been a difficult year and a half, thanks you wonderful children you are FAB. A special mention to the year 6 pupils who leave us today; we sincerely wish you the very best as you move to secondary school, but offer an open invitation if any of you would like to come and see us in the future......... keep us informed of how things are going. Stay safe over the summer period and we look forward to seeing everone back on Thursday 2nd September- bright eyed and bushy tailed. .................. please keep an eye out for parentmails during the summer break as there is lots to share with you all........................Let us hope that next year is 'normal' and that we can enjoy being together in class and in school. Thanks to all the parents that have worked so hard to help their children through lockdowns, both academically and emotionally...........we know how difficult it was. Stay safe!

24/5/2020 - Week 8 Work Timetables

Hello Year 6,

I hope you're all well. It was nice to speak to some of you and your parents again last week to hear about how you're getting on away from school. I'll be calling anybody I didn't get round to speaking to last time this week.

Next week is of course half term, so there is a smaller timetable of work set to help keep a routine and as a substitute for normal homework. I have included optional work if you would like to do more, but if not the shorter timetable should leave you plenty of time to relax next week.

Although the government have still not confirmed schools will definitely be opening on Monday June 1 to more pupils than we currently have been open for over the past eight weeks, we have been busy preparing and changing the school in case they confirm that is their plan. On Monday, Mr Barnett will be posting a video to the school's website with more information about what this return may look like if it goes ahead based on what we currently know. There is a short video on the school's Facebook page showing what the new Reception class looks like and I hope to be able to share some more information with you this week about Year 6.

As always, stay safe and keep up the good work!
