We continue to be amazed at how well the children have settled, well done to all our fab pupils. As restrictions lift nationally, the academy will also look to 'ease' some areas. This will be done in a careful and progamatic way. We will not put pupils and staff at risk. The academy will remain vigilant, and we ask that parents do the same and support us to continue to get things back on 'an even keel'. As the children are settled, we will now be implementing the LA and national guidance on absence and lateness......thank you for your support in getting the children to school and on time, it helps them to settle in the morning and helps us to support their learning.

28/06/2020 - PARENT/CARER READING SURVEY AND WEEK 13 TIMETABLES

Dear parents and carers,

I hope you and your children are safe and well.

As I know you’ll be aware, reading is one of the most important parts of your child's education. Next year, I will be taking on the role of reading lead at Freemantle and I am very keen to hear your thoughts regarding your child's reading habits and education.

I know your children didn't sit SATs this year, but I hope you saw, and continue to see, the gains and benefits that come from increased reading, with so many of the Year 6 pupils this year significantly increasing the amount they have read at home, or the level of challenge of the texts they have read in and out of school. Your unique views and experiences, having supported your child through the whole of primary school, are especially important.

Please could you take a few minutes to respond to the survey below. As a thank you, everybody who completes the survey before Friday July 3rd will be entered into a draw to win one of three Amazon vouchers.

Thank you for your time and support.

Mr Seymour
