We would like to say that we are so proud of all of our pupils and their resilience and attitude in what has been a difficult year and a half, thanks you wonderful children you are FAB. A special mention to the year 6 pupils who leave us today; we sincerely wish you the very best as you move to secondary school, but offer an open invitation if any of you would like to come and see us in the future......... keep us informed of how things are going. Stay safe over the summer period and we look forward to seeing everone back on Thursday 2nd September- bright eyed and bushy tailed. .................. please keep an eye out for parentmails during the summer break as there is lots to share with you all........................Let us hope that next year is 'normal' and that we can enjoy being together in class and in school. Thanks to all the parents that have worked so hard to help their children through lockdowns, both academically and emotionally...........we know how difficult it was. Stay safe!

21/06/2020 - Week 12 Home Learning Timetables For Pupils Not in School

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all well and getting to spend some time outside safely and keeping in touch with your friends. It's really important for your physical and mental health that you're keeping active and also still socialising, whether that's over the phone or the internet, or you're able to do so safely with family following the guidance from the government.

This week we finish revising all the areas of maths by completing an end of year CGP assessment. Make sure you mark this using the mark scheme at the back of your CGP book. In writing, we take a look back at your time at Freemantle. I know this year didn't end how you, or I, would have liked, but many of you have spent most of your life with us at Freemantle, made fantastic friends and will have made memories you'll never forget. This week's writing is all about celebrating the best times you've had as part of our Freemantle family.

We also come towards the end of our art work by looking at the unusual work of Damien Hirst and trying to create something in his unique style in an art/DT crossover. I'd love to see photos if you do create a piece of art in his style.

As always, stay safe and keep working hard. Remember also that the most important thing you can be doing to help you prepare for secondary school is reading high quality books every day.

Mr Seymour
